French Press

It is a full immersion extraction method with a metal mesh filter. Its grind should be coarse and not fine since due to the metal filter this method is more vulnerable to filtering coffee particles into your drink, thus creating a sandy sensation, which is not very pleasant for people. With the French press you get a drink with a lot of body and texture.

How to do it?

1. Add the ground coffee to the press.
2. Add hot water (the temperature should be before reaching the boiling point), make sure to soak all the coffee and wait for about 30 seconds to pre-infuse.
3. Pour the rest of the water in circles.
4. Put the lid on and lower the plunger to where the water reaches.
5. Let it sit for 3 to 5 minutes. Recommended: 4 minutes
6. Lower the plunger slowly until you reach the end.

Grinding: Gross

Chemex

It is a drip method where the water passes through a layer of coffee and a paper filter, thanks to this, you get a very clean cup without debris! since solids cannot pass through the filter. With this method your coffee has greater sweetness and less body.

How to do it?

1. Place the paper filter on the Chemex making sure that the
position of this is appropriate.
2. Wash the coffee filter with hot water to remove impurities.
(Discard it later).
3. Add the coffee. Recommended: 7g of coffee per 100ml of water.
4. Pour A LITTLE hot water until the coffee is soaked to make a pre-infusion, wait a few seconds and pour all the water again in circles from the center to the edge.
5. Wait 4 minutes of infusion and remove the filter.

Grinding: Half.

Aeropress

It is a method that was created to shorten the infusion time of coffee and thus reduce its bitter taste.

It is the most versatile of all since you can play with the amount of coffee you use, the water temperature, the infusion time, the grinding, among others. Each variation and different combination between these factors will make you get a completely different drink in terms of flavors. It is a world so big that it has its own championship.

How to do it?

1. Rinse the filter with hot water
2. Add the ground coffee
3. Pour hot water over the ground coffee.
4. Stir for a few seconds.
5. Press the plunger to filter the coffee by the force of the pressurized air.

V60

It is a filtering method that will result in a smooth and aromatic cup. It consists of a V-shaped ceramic cone with a 60º angle and spiral grooves inside.

How to do it?

1. Place the V60 on the cup or jug ​​in which you will serve the coffee.
2. Put the paper filter in and add a little hot water to eliminate flavors and heat the method.
3.Add the coffee to the filter, distributing it evenly.
4. Pour a little water into the center of the cone, tracing circles to soak all the coffee and make a pre-infusion. Wait a few seconds and add all the water in the same way.
5. When the drip is finished, remove the filter and enjoy your cup.

Grinding: Medium Fine.
